Chloe Ann Fearn

Hello, I’m… Chloe Fearn

  • TEFL certified
  • BSc (Hons) Psychology and Counselling
  • 8 years experience in teaching English as a foreign language to students around the world

Outside of work:

I always have some project on the go, and MyButterfly was one that was born out my personal experience as a foreigner moving to Montenegro.
When I’m not teaching or taking care of the cats, I paint – usually around topics of fantasy, the universe, nature…maybe some cats. I like music, video games, learning language and am always seeking to improve my Serbian (Montenegrin) language. I hike in nature, exploring Montenegro. I care about my wellbeing and self-development, – spiritually, intellectually, and physically.

“I aim for my lessons to feel like drinking coffee in a cafe with your friend – we best learn when feeling relaxed and safe.”

Approach & Work Ethic:

A comfortable and fun atmosphere is important when learning, and my classroom is exactly that – where students are free to experiment and make mistakes. In my conversational lessons, we can talk about anything and I’ll be there using the ‘chunking’ and ‘shadowing’ methods to correct you and extend your vocabulary as it organically comes up.

For those that haven’t reached that conversational level yet, no worries – I have materials to use, or we can describe pictures, decipher songs and videos…
Ask me in a message – we can tailor the lesson to you.
